Description
Reptile Terrarium Electronic Thermostat – 300W
By Exo Terra
Reptile Terrarium Electronic Thermostat – 300W by Exo Terra. An easy, safe way to regulate heat in your reptile terrarium.
Reptiles are ectothermic. This means they are cold-blooded animals. Regulation of their body temperature depends on external sources like sunlight, branches or heated rock surfaces.
Providing your reptile with the appropriate temperature within a terrarium is a very important factor in the success of your reptile.
Ensure that you know the correct species related temperatures.
Features:
Reptile Terrarium Electronic Thermostat – 300W By Exo Terra creates a controlled heating system.
It will allow you to maintain the proper temperature conditions similar to conditions in a desert or a tropical environment.
If you need a thermostat that will control more wattage, see our Reptile Terrarium Thermostat – 600W Dimmable. Both of these thermostats will prevent overheating and under-cooling during the summer days or the cold winter nights.
The electronic Triac switch keeps the temperature at the desired set point with a higher accuracy than conventional thermostats. It will virtually eliminate temperature swings in your terrarium.
The dial of the thermostat is recessed so it prevents accidental temperature change if the device is being handled. The waterproof remote sensor can be safely used in highly moist terrariums and aquatic environments.
