Rep­tile Ter­rar­i­um Ther­mo­stat – 600W Dim­ma­ble by Exo Ter­ra is an easy, safe way to reg­u­late heat in your rep­tile ter­rar­i­um.

Rep­tiles are ectother­mic. This means they are cold-blood­ed ani­mals. Reg­u­la­tion of their body tem­per­a­ture depends on exter­nal sources like sun­light, branch­es or heat­ed rock sur­faces.

Pro­vid­ing your rep­tile with the appro­pri­ate tem­per­a­ture with­in a ter­rar­i­um is a very impor­tant fac­tor in the suc­cess of your rep­tile.

Rep­tile Ter­rar­i­um Ther­mo­stat – 600W Dim­ma­ble By Exo Ter­ra you can cre­ate a con­trolled heat­ing sys­tem. It allows you to main­tain the prop­er tem­per­a­ture con­di­tions sim­i­lar to con­di­tions in a desert or a trop­i­cal envi­ron­ment. This ther­mo­stat will pre­vent over­heat­ing and under-cool­ing dur­ing the sum­mer days or the cold win­ter nights.

The day­time and night­time tem­per­a­tures can be set sep­a­rate­ly. This ensures safe day­time-night­time changes in tem­per­a­tures. The dim­ming and pulse pro­por­tion­al func­tion keeps the tem­per­a­ture at the desired set point with a high­er accu­ra­cy than con­ven­tion­al ther­mostats. It will vir­tu­al­ly elim­i­nate tem­per­a­ture swings in your ter­rar­i­um.

LED Screen:

There is an easy to read blue LCD screen which shows the actu­al and set tem­per­a­ture. It will auto­mat­i­cal­ly increase bright­ness of the LCD in day mode and use dim light when in night mode. A RED LED and a heat­ing sym­bol indi­cates when the heat­ing device is ON. When the set tem­per­a­tures is reached, the LED will switch to BLUE and the heat­ing sym­bol will no longer show.

Temperature Probe:

The tem­per­a­ture probe has a built in light sen­sor. It will auto­mat­i­cal­ly switch between day­time and night­time tem­per­a­ture set­tings based on the light inten­si­ty. Con­nect your heat mat, heat cable, ceram­ic heater or heat bulb to the Rep­tile Ter­rar­i­um Ther­mo­stat – 600W Dim­ma­ble. Set your day­time and night­time tem­per­a­tures and place the heat sen­sor in the desired spot.

The push button/dial sys­tem of the ther­mo­stat will pre­vent acci­den­tal changes in the set tem­per­a­ture if the device is being han­dled. The water­proof remote sen­sor can be safe­ly used in high­ly moist ter­rar­i­ums and aquat­ic envi­ron­ments.

Rep­tile Ter­rar­i­um Ther­mo­stat – 600W Dim­ma­ble and pulse pro­por­tion­al ther­mo­stat should be set accord­ing to the spe­cif­ic needs of your rep­tile. Research­ing the pre­ferred opti­mum tem­per­a­ture range (POTR) for your spe­cif­ic rep­tile will allow you to cre­ate the cor­rect tem­per­a­ture gra­di­ents inside the ter­rar­i­um to all your rep­tiles to ther­moreg­u­late.
